04-10-2005 IT partnership with Lotto Romania. XcellenceIT has the great pleasure to announce the IT partnership with the well known producer of sports equipment, Lotto Romania. As part of this partnership, we have recently developed a web based application for stock management. This is an undistributed application – it is accessed through the web interface and the modifications are made in an exclusive database, being accessible for everyone in real time. It uses OpenSource technologies: Linux, as operating system, PHP, Apache and PostgreSQL, thus having the great advantage of eliminating the licensing costs completely.

XcellenceIT has been recently selected to develop a software application that allows the end user to read and track their Bible reading for a whole year and enables keeping a record of the users, adding, deleting the users and keeping a record of the Bible Reading Plan and also other devotional reading for each user.

05-26-2005 Online Campaign for Eximtur. XcellenceIT has been organizing the online promoting campaign for Eximtur, one of the most important touring operator and travel agency in Romania. It consists in promoting the offer for flight tickets, as well as the estival offer at the seaside, reaching 650.000 displays on the following sites: www.softpedia.com, www.evenimentulzilei.ro, www.carcotasii.ro, www.bizcity.ro, www.infoturism.ro. XcellenceIT has already organized another online campaign between: 02.01.2005-03.01.2005 with approx. 300.000 displays on the sites www.capital.ro, www.kappa.ro, www.rol.ro that had a great promotional impact on the sales for the flight tickets.

XcellenceIT has recently completed successfully a project that consisted in developing an automate betting application on the site betfair.com. The application includes an advanced betting algorithm that takes into consideration the current quotas of the horses, as well as the quotas from a similar site (totalbet.com). Basing on this algorithm, the application decide the level of the bets and places them on the site.

11-24-2004 Espanol logo. XcellenceIT has recently completed a representative logo design with a very special symbolism, for William Murillo, as the second project developed together with our client. The logo design is dedicated to those over 35 millions Hispanics that live in USA, coming from more than 20 countries while sharing religion, beliefs, passions, culture in common, especially keeping alive their native language, Español . The idea was to create a logo to reflect living in the USA and being proud of their Hispanic nationality at the same time and the logo provided is an accurate graphic expression of their common feeling of being Hispanic.
